“Meet the Counselors!”

Fayston Counseling Department envisions all students to hear the good news, know their identity in God, and matriculate to colleges that foster their full potential.

The Fayston College Counseling Team presents strategic vision for the college bound students and leads the college search and application process. Through 'FPS Counseling Strategies,' we will inspire students to seek the life's mission and to find the "best fit" university. Fayston stresses bringing out the core values of our students. We treasure students' identities and their voices.

We want to guide all students to unearth their beliefs and how they wish to serve and influence humankind. Once their calling and worldview are uncovered, we aim to motivate each student to meet the requirements of interested universities in order to facilitate a successful outcome. Through bespoke consultation and proper motivation, we believe students will be fully prepared to pursue their college aspirations.

안녕하세요, 페이스튼 학생 및 학부모님 여러분.


비전트립을 앞두고 다양한 대학교에서 페이스튼을 방문하여 학생들을 만나고자 합니다. 다음 주에 학교에 방문해 줄 학교를 간략히 소개해 드리니 관심 있는 학생 여러분께서는 신청서를 통해 반드시 신청해 주시고, 과목 선생님의 허락을 받은 후에 참여해 주시기 바랍니다.


1-3. 9월 12일 (화) 대학 설명회 일정 안내

비전트립을 앞둔 12일에는 많은 학교들이 페이스튼 캠퍼스에 방문하여 학생들을 만나고 대학교에 대하여 소개해 주실 예정입니다. 선배들이 이미 우수한 성적으로 재학중인 학교들도 있어서 대학 담당자님들께서 페이스튼에 대해 호의적이시고 페이스튼 방문을 기대하고 있습니다.

1. 오전 11시

참여 대학: Brandeis University, Case Western Reserve University, University of Rochester

- Brandeis University: 연구 중심, 학부 중심의 사립대학교로서 경영, 법, 사회정책학, 문학, 역사, 자연과학 등의 전공으로 유명합니다.

- Case Western Reserve: 사립 연구중심 종합대학으로서 다양한 전공이 유명하지만 그 중에서도 페이스튼 선배들은 의대, 자연과학, 공학, 경영 위주의 전공으로 지원하여 재학중입니다.

- University of Rochester: 과학, 공학, 경영, 사회과학 등의 전공이 유명한 사립대학교로 연구 중심의 우수한 대학입니다.

대상: 페이스튼 고등 학생

2. 오후 12시 30분

참여 대학: Calvin University

기독교적인 가치관을 가진 사립 종합대학교로서 사회과학, 인문, 보건, 교육, 경영 등의 전공이 유명합니다. 우수한 성적과 인성을 가진 국제학생들에게 장학금의 기회가 많이 있습니다.

대상: 페이스튼 고등 학생

3. 오후 4시 40분

참여 대학: College of Wooster

학부 중심의 대학으로 학생 개개인의 교육을 강조하고 있는 대학입니다. 학부생으로서 학생들은 독자적인 연구를 통해 독립연구를 하여 개인의 능력을 향상할 수 있습니다.

대상: 페이스튼 고등 학생 및 학부모님

관심 있는 부모님께서는 학생과 함께 참여가 가능하십니다. 부모님께서 함께 참석하시는 경우에는 반드시 신청서에 표시를 해주시기 바랍니다. (신청서 작성은 학생 본인만 가능합니다.)

4. 10월 16일 (토) KISCA Seoul World University Fair

페이스튼은 한국 국제학교 카운슬러 연합 (Korean International School Counselor Association) 소속으로 이번 KISCA World University Fair에 공식/무료로 참석이 가능합니다. 90여개 학교의 입학사정관님들께서 이 자리에 오실 예정입니다. 학생들에게 좋은 기회가 될 수 있기 때문에 꼭 참여할 수 있기를 바랍니다.
