STEP 01

Information Session / Parent(s)-focused

Philosophy, curriculum, tuition&fee information and basic information concerning admissions.

STEP 02

Test and Interview / Student-Focused

Test (Reading, Language, Math, Speaking, Essay writing, Etc)
Admission interview (Emotional quality test, Basic interview questions)

Required documents

  1. 1.Permanent Record from previously attended schools (previous 2~3 years)
  2. 2.Official School Transcript from previously attended schools (previous 2~3 years)
  3. 3.Fayston Application Form (provided in this document)
  4. 4.Fayston Student-Introduction Form (provided in this document)
  5. 5.Fayston Conduct Agreement Form (provided in this document)

*Required documents should be handed in 3 days prior to the designated day

*Applicant is required to pay application fee (₩300,000) in this step.

STEP 03

Final Interview for Parents (Only if the student pass the test and interview)

Student's Academics. English proficiency. Medical issue. Previous school life experience. Parents' Educational
Philosophy. School's Educational Philosophy and Expectations

Grade System

The minimum age guidelines for the relevant grade level are as follows: The criterion for age is not month age but year age.

Grade 2 Korean age 8 yrs. Each class 12-14 Children / 3 Classes

Grade 4 Korean age 10 yrs. Each class 12-14 Children / 3 Classes
Grade 5 Korean age 11 yrs. Each class 12-14 Children / 2-3 Classes
Middle Grade 6 Korean age 12 yrs. Each class 12-14 Children / 2-3 Classes
Grade 7 Korean age 13 yrs. Each class 14-16 / 3 Classes
Grade 8 Korean age 14 yrs. Each class 14-16 / 4 Classes
High Grade 9 Korean age 15 yrs. Each class 16-20 / 4 Classes
Grade 10 Korean age 16 yrs. Each class 16-20 / 4 Classes
Grade 11 Korean age 17 yrs. Each class 16-20 / 4 Classes

* Requirements

There is no limitation for submitting applications to study at FPS except for grades 11 and 12. Final acceptance and admission into FPS will be based on a comprehensive review of all documentation, the student’s attitude, applicant’s language proficiency level and additional learning support needs, if any. FPS reserves the right to accept or reject an application.

Fees

The general tuition fee for secondary is approximately secondary 27-29 million won per year and elementary is around elementary 25million won per year,
plus additional expenses for shuttle, school meals, books, etc…
